Fotofacial™+PLUS

Skin Rejuvenation

Fotofacial™ is a procedure that uses Intense Pulsed Light Technology. It is considered the most effective treatment available for Rosacea, redness, and excessive flushing of the face, neck, and chest. In addition, Fotofacial™ improves the visible signs of photoaging by reducing fine lines, enlarged pores, telangiectasias (facial spider veins) and irregular, brown pigmentation.

At Laser Light Treatment Center, our philosophy is to use all our technologies to make your skin look its best. We call our treatment Fotofacial™+Plus because we add diode laser when necessary to eradicate broken blood vessels and a 560 xeo technology to diminish brown age spots at no extra charge.

How can I determine if this treatment is right for me?

To know if you are a candidate for FotoFacial™ treatment, a trained physician or nurse must evaluate you. At the Laser Light Treatment Center, Dr. Palmer White will see you in consultation, create your treatment plan, supervise your treatment, and see you in follow up.

What is the treatment like?

FotoFacial™ consists of five treatments lasting 45 minutes, spaced three weeks apart. Intense pulsed light is passed along the skin of the face, and in some instances, neck and chest. Then the doide laser is used on broken blood vessels. Patients describe the sensation as feeling like the snap of a rubber band.

When will I be able to return to my normal activities?

Patients experience NO DOWN TIME (in most instances). In most instances, normal activities can be resumed immediately.

What kind of results can be expected?

Realistic expectations are 60 - 80% reduction of redness, flushing and irregular pigment. Skin coarseness and pore size is improved by 60 - 70%.

Can any other lasers achieve these results?

At this time, there is no other laser technology that can achieve these results while allowing patients to return to normal activities immediately. Our office does not use radio frequency technology because of the side effects associated. There is a difference between Fotofacial™ that does not use radio frequency and Fotofacialrf™ (rf=radio frequency) that does use radio frequency.
