Titan™ Anti-Aging Procedure:

Titan™ anti-aging procedure is a therapeutic light procedure that tightens and lifts loose and sagging skin, particularly effective in the area of the face and neck.

Using infrared light that acts on deep collagen, Titan™ technology tightens the skin of the cheeks, jowls and forehead, as well as reducing laugh lines around the eyes. It lifts the eyebrow and flattens the “marionette” lines around the mouth and chin.

The Titan™ procedure gives skin a more youthful appearance, making it a perfect option for people who do not wish to have a facelift but want to do something to rejuvenate their appearance.

Titan™ + Plus Anti-Aging Procedure:

At Laser Light Treatment Center, our philosophy is to use all our technologies to make your skin look its best. With the TitanT+ Plus treatment, we combine Intense Pulsed Light technology (Fotofacial™) and Diode Laser with the Titan™ Infrared technology to achieve exceptional results. The skin is not only firmed and lifted, but pore size, brown pigment and broken blood vessels are diminished.

Q. What is the difference between Titan™, Thermage™, and Polaris™?

A. All three procedures claim to accomplish the same thing. However, they use different technologies, and with varying results. Thermage™ and Polaris™ both use radio frequency technology, which can penetrate the skin into underlying fat, causing dents and lumpiness in the face. Titan™, on the other hand, uses infrared technology, which provides an even, tightening effect and with no lumps or dents. There is also significantly less discomfort associated with Titan™ than with these other, often painful, procedures, and there is no downtime.

Q. Has Titan™ been tested and approved?

A. Titan™ has been closely studied and tested in clinics around the world. In Europe, it has been cleared to treat wrinkles, and in Canada, for general dermatological use. In the U.S., Titan™ has been approved for topical heating to increase tissue temperature and circulation. The Titan™ procedure is now being used extensively throughout the U.S. as an alternative to a surgical facelift.

Q. Who can be treated?

A. Although people of any skin type may be treated, some people are better candidates than others for this procedure. You are invited to call our office for a free consultation with Dr. White to determine whether this treatment is right for you.

Q. How long does a treatment last?

A. Treatment times vary depending on the area to be treated and by the number of times the laser is passed over the skin. Typically, you can expect the treatment to last between one and two hours.

Q. What do treatments feel like?

A. With each Titan™ laser pulse, which lasts a few seconds, people feel a brief heating sensation. Some people may feel discomfort in the temporal area, but the sensation is manageable and does not last.

Q. How many treatments will I need?

A. For best outcomes, we recommend at least two to three treatments, spaced four weeks apart. This decision is made at the time of consultation depending on the goals you wish to achieve.

Q. Are there any side effects after treatment?

A. Immediately after treatment, patients may experience some redness and mild swelling. Both dissipate within a couple of hours and patients can return to work or to other activities immediately after treatment. There is no discomfort after the treatment.

Q. What kind of results can I expect?

A. Realistically, you should expect that your skin will look 10 years younger. Because this treatment stimulates your own collagen to grow, results are not immediate.
