What is Veinablation™ and how does laser Light Treatment Center differ from other vein treatment providers?

We combine laser and sclerotherapy injection in the treatment of varicose and spider veins in a unique treatment protocol developed by Dr. White.  We have been performing and perfecting this technique for over 11 years.  We use several different lasers and several different injectable medications depending on the size, color and location of the veins.  We treat everything in one session and get exceptional results.  There is NO DOWN TIME after treatment.



Besides the fact that our treatment protocol is unique, there are other things that make us different.  Dr. White, Our Founder, a vascular surgeon of over 30 years experience.  In the last 11 years, he has focused almost exclusively on the treatment of varicose veins.  We are a medical practice, not a medi-spa.  We are located in a hospital not a shopping mall.  Every patient has an individualized treatment plan created for them. This is not a one size fits all treatment.

How long do results last?

We always tell our patients that the veins we treat will not come back.  “Dead is dead”, so to speak.  However, we also tell our patients that people who make varicose veins and spider veins tend to continue to make more veins as they age.  It is a chronic problem.

Will my insurance cover the cost of this procedure?

No.  Any more these days, insurance companies consider leg vein treatment cosmetic even if there is pain involved.

Will it hurt?  How soon can I return to my normal activities?

Treatment feels like a quick sting that does not endure.  We offer medication before treatment for relaxation if the patient prefers.  There is rarely any significant pain after treatment.  Most people resume their normal activities right away.

How long does it take for the veins to disappear?

 Generally, once treated, the body will absorb the veins.  Ropy varicose veins will often collapse right away. Most people begin to see resolution of spider veins at 3 to 4 weeks.  The whole process can, for some, take 12 or more weeks.  Every person is different.
